Fall is here, and while it may look a little different in Florida compared to the rest of the country, it's a season we eagerly embrace. Unlike our friends up north who witness the spectacular changing leaves, we Floridians get a break from the relentless summer heat. But just because we can't see the traditional signs of fall doesn't mean we don't cherish all the wonderful traditions that come with this season. Being a portrait photographer in Clearwater, Florida, I can't help but get excited about this time of year. Fall gives us some of the prettiest backdrops for awesome photo sessions. It's a magical season filled with wonderful traditions like visiting pumpkin patches, decorating our homes with warm autumnal hues, sipping on hot apple cider, and, of course, indulging in some spooktacular Halloween movies.
Embracing the Cozy, Not the Creepy
Now I have a confession to make, despite arranging the occasional eerie photoshoots for my clients, I'm actually a big baby when it comes to scary movies. Horror films? Not my cup of cider! That's why, year after year, I find solace in family-friendly Halloween movies. These cinematic gems may not all explicitly mention Halloween, but they certainly set the mood for this spooky season.
